Constantine Nsofor

Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, including the last 5 years in advanced practice. I provide care for adolescents (13+) and adults.

I began my journey with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and later earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. I am nationally certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Over the years, I have had the privilege of working across diverse areas of care, including adult and adolescent psychiatry, psychiatric research, acute inpatient psychiatry, medical-surgical nursing, hospice care, and community health. In addition, I enjoy serving as an adjunct professor, sharing my passion for mental health with future nurses.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based medication management, while also incorporating psychodynamic principles when helpful to explore underlying patterns that impact emotional health. I believe in a collaborative, supportive relationship—working together with each client to help them find clarity, balance, and improved well-being.

I provide care for a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, schizophrenia, ADHD, PTSD, personality disorders, and more.

For accessibility, I am in-network with most major insurance providers, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), United Healthcare (UHC), UMR, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Quest Behavioral Health. Private pay options are also available.
